In a jubilant celebration of two decades of academic excellence and unwavering commitment to nurturing future professionals, St. Bernadette of Lourdes College (SBLC) marked its 20th Founding Anniversary on February 15, 2023. The sprawling SBLC Campus Grounds were adorned with festivity and brimming with the energy of students, guests, and partners who came to honor this significant milestone.

One of the hallmarks of SBLC’s Founding Anniversary was the warm welcome extended to partner institutions that have played a pivotal role in the college’s journey to excellence. Representatives from esteemed organizations such as Marikina Valley Medical Center, Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Doctors, and Nurses gathered to celebrate and connect with the SBLCian students.

Dr. Roland D. Villegas, President of St. Bernadette of Lourdes College, delivered a heartfelt message during the program, emphasizing the theme of inclusivity and progress under his new management. His words resonated with the audience, underlying SBLC’s commitment to providing quality education and embracing diversity.

Throughout the campus, booths and banners were thoughtfully arranged, showcasing the rich history and achievements of SBLC over the past two decades. As the day unfolded, students took to the stage, presenting a vibrant array of performances that captivated the audience. The SBLC staff had also prepared engaging games with enticing prizes, adding an element of excitement to the festivities.

In keeping with the spirit of the occasion, a post-Valentine’s Day Seminar titled “Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw: The Psychology of Letting Go” was held, featuring Ms. Patricia Nicole B. Diaz, RPm, as the speaker. The seminar delved into the intricate dynamics of detachment, acceptance, and moving on in relationships, topics that resonate with individuals throughout their lives. Ms. Diaz’s insightful presentation provided attendees with valuable insights into navigating the complexities of human relationships.
