SBLC stages Nursing Ceremony
In a solemn and meaningful ceremony, St. Bernadette of Lourdes College (SBLC) celebrated its White Coat, Capping, Pinning, and Candle Lighting Ceremony on May 24, 2023, at the St. Peter Parish Shrine of Leaders.
Themed “Empowering SBLCian Nurses through Transformative Practical Education,” the event marked a significant milestone in the lives of nursing students as they took their first steps into the healthcare industry.
This cherished ceremony holds a special place in the hearts of nursing students, signifying their initiation into the noble profession of nursing. As they donned their white coats, received their caps and pins, and lit their candles, it symbolized their commitment to uphold the highest standards of care, compassion, and professionalism in the field of healthcare.
The occasion was graced by esteemed guests, including Dr. Yektiningtyastuti, S.Kp., M. Kep, Sp. Mat., DNM, who traveled from Indonesia to be a part of this momentous event. Dr. Yektiningtyastuti’s presence emphasized the international significance of SBLC’s nursing programs and the global perspective that the institution instills in its students.
Dr. Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz, a distinguished member of the Board of Nursing Professional Regulations Commission, delivered words of support and encouragement to the budding nurses.
